Our Approach

Long-term relationships are at the heart of our business, and we hope the personal attention we devote to each client will keep our firm thriving and our clients prospering.

To best understand a prospective client’s needs, we meet face-to-face for a financial inventory and gather information pertinent to their financial objectives.

This initial consultation is complimentary. Once a client chooses to partner with Butler Associates Financial Planners, the relationship proceeds with annual or quarterly meetings in person or by phone, depending on the client’s preference.

Between conferences, we take a proactive approach in overseeing their investments to assure that they are meeting their objectives with an appropriate level of risk. We will call their attention to opportunities or concerns that might impact their financial future. Our clients can trust us to remain in compliance with changing tax laws and current on the latest investment techniques through continuous education.

We do not charge performance-based fees on any client accounts. We bill based on AUM (assets under management), hourly, or on a fixed-fee basis. Clients may incur custodial fees; brokerage commissions; transaction fees; internal fees and expenses charged by mutual funds or exchange traded funds (ETFs); and other fees and taxes on brokerage accounts and securities transactions, depending on the type of account or financial product selected. Any charges incurred are discussed and agreed upon in advance.
